Buy or invest in gold

Gold as a hedge

Buy or invest in gold; Professionally investors use hedges to offset losses in another asset class. Many investors buy or invest in gold to hedge against the decline of a currency especially our dollar being the very currency in which gold is internationally traded. For instance, the price of gold doubled in 2002 to 2007 from $347.20 to $833.75 per ounce. This incidence is because the value of a dollar as measured against the euro fell from 40% during that same period of time. Again in 2008 despite the financial crisis, some other investors continued to hedge a dollar decline caused by two new factors. One was the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing program that launched in December 2008. The other was record level deficit spending that drove the debt to a GDP ratio above the critical 90% level.

Gold as a safe haven

Investors to use gold as a safe haven against a possible catastrophe, for instance, the Qatar crisis that recently occurred made many investors start investing in the precious metal. to flash back in 2008 financial crisis many people learned or realised how important it is to invest in gold. Gold being a safe haven is basically because the economic crisis in the world has made its prices to skyrocket in response. For example the 2011 debt ceiling crisis and so many known crises in the economy. Many investors too want to protect their investments against a possible U.S economic collapse. So you really need to invest in 24k gold now.

Gold as a direct investment

Many investors saw these tremendous increases in the price of gold and bought it as a direct investment to take advantage of the future price increase. Others continue to buy gold because they see it as a finite valuable substance, with many industrial uses. Last but not least, gold is held by many governments and wealthy individuals. Therefore investors should have at least some gold in their portfolio. If you want to avoid a stock market crash then you should buy our 24k gold. Gold prices increase dramatically after a crash.
